Corn Bread

I have tried lots and lots of corn bread recipes. This is by far, my favorite.

1 cup wheat flour (or you can use white)
1 Tbs. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup cornmeal
1 c. milk
1 egg
1 Tbs. oil

Combine all ingredients and mix well until smooth. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes until lightly browned.
